Round two of the 2019 F.S.R.A. Pre-Injection Sidecar Championship, sponsored by Lane Building Services and PAGID Racing moves to Oulton Park on Saturday 27th April.
The F2 class is currently led by Rob Fisher / Rick Long, but this weekend will see stand in passenger Jake Lowther in place of Rick, who is away competing in the World Strongman championships. Chasing them are the Chandler brothers and the Sims father and son combination. It is good to see two F350's in attendance, those of Nigel and Paul Thomas; and Billy Pearson / Rob Child who performed well last year in the wet at Cadwell Park.
In the F1 class championship newcomers Lee Chadwick / Steve Fairclough's long wheelbase Yamaha R1 machine will battle out with the older GPZ1000 of the Steve Alexander / Steve Woolcott and championship leaders Dave Tibbles / Raitch Greenwood on their FJ1100 Yamaha.
Unfortunately, not all Pre-Injection teams were able to get an entry due to the popularity of this Oulton Park meeting. Entries for the sidecar grid were decided on a “first come - first served” system. Duo to the track time constraints it has not been possible to fit in an extra sidecar race, which has left over fifteen additional sidecar teams wanting to enter.
A big thank you as always goes to Adrian Lane Building Services, PAGID Brake Pads and the Formula Sidecar Racing Association (F.S.R.A.) for their continued support and sponsorship of our championship.
Again, thank you Wirral 100 for your invitation and support at this meeting.
